This website houses a collection of images photographed by Nicola Toscano between 1952 and 1961. Included are family snapshots, portraits of ordinary people, locally known figures, landscapes, and events of the time, all of which provide a feel for the Southern Italian region of Calabria during that decade.
The Exhibit
These 52 images from the collection were printed in 2001 and displayed at the Dyer Arts Center in Rochester, NY.
